Is anybody here who knows an upgrade or crack for the Nav DVD or for the 6CD that will help me to play MP3 on my SRX/05/V8

That's not a feature GM would have kept secret if it would work.

The upgrade is available via the aftermarket. An iPod connection is available as long as you have XM. It is a digital overide to through the XM. It only temporarily overides XM while the iPod is plugged in. Gives about 50% control through the radio and direct control from the iPod. Find yourself a reliable installer and they can hook it up for you.

If you just want an aux input there are several. I thought you meant you wanted to play MP3 CD in the CD player.

I have the USA-SPEC PA11-Vette. It provides and IPOD/Aux input for external players. It works.
