MY problems with the Catera continue...I was about 100 miles outside of DC on my way home to Indiana.

Stopped the car to gas up and it wouldn't start. Had to call a tow truck. After towing to the dealership the car started with no problem. Drove fine until we had to gas up again. Stopped the car, gassed up and it wouldn't start again. Waited 20 minutes and it started fine. Towing it to the dealership this morning. Any idea on what is wrong? Tow truck driver thought it was computer problems.

Sounds like the crank sensor, or the wiring to it, is on its way out.

I had the same thing happen to my car when I first got it.
The thing would not restart after every fuel up and the fuel gauge would show empty on a full tank.

I got underneath the car and unplugged the wiring going to the fuel pump and sender unit (big black plug right behind the rear end), cleaned the corrosion off, gave it a good dab of dielectric grease and she never did it again.
