I just purchased a new 08 escalade in black raven. Ive been looking at some new detailing products by menzerna to use since this is the only black vehicle I own and i know what a PITA it can be to keep clean. Menzerna is used to finish mercedes paint before they leave the factory, and developed for them is a polish that is for the "new" ceramic clear coat. I read on a detailing forum that american auto makers were in the process of changing over to this new "scratch resistent" (they were very serious about it not being scratch proof but instead a little more resistent to swirls due to an additive of some kind). I was wondering if any of you knew if cadillac has switched over to this new clear coat, because if they have, i would like to try the new menzerna polish products before I get too many layers of zaino on there :):):)
Also, if there are any recommendations on where to find this out (already tried the dealer, including service dept., and multiple detail forums)

Go to www.autogeek.net (http://www.autogeek.net) (a Menzerna distributor) and ask them in a very specific e-mail. (Palm Beach, FL)
