I usually like K*N stuff...but just dealt with simple filter replacement...

I have the Lingenfelter. I like it but it uses the stock intake tube, and I'm making my own tube.
The K&N comes with its own intake tube. From the pictures, it doesn't look like the filter is sealed as good as the Lingenfelter.
The Volant is fully enclosed, but I is more $$$.

The Lingenfelter and K&N are VERY easy, and the Volant cant be much harder.
Few simple tools, 15/20 minutes.

Is that intake tube important to replace??

Some of the guys found it restrictive. If you look inside it, you'll see its not hollow. You can put a 4" tube, but its very tight. I'm going with a 3.5".

I have Volant and like it alot. Installed in about 30 min. Not sure how much extra HP they are actually worth but just comparing the design to stock it is a obvious improvement. Plus the carbon fiber box cover looks good.
