here are some pictures the new paint job done on my seville. Yes I know that some parts are missing from my car I have to go to the dealer to get clips and order a new lower door molding. what do you think about the pant ? I already know what some or yall think about big rims :tisk:

i like the tail light blackouts. how was that done? film? paint?....Nightshades + clearcoat or model paint? Why didn't you blackout the brake light?

paranoia lol I left it alone so I would have some type of argument if I ever got pulled over for the tails and so that light would still be at its full brightness if some idiot rear ends me and trys to say he didnt see my brake lights. buy the way its paint tinted clear coat to be exact.

Looks good, Ive been wanting to do that to my 99 sts. But like 2/3 of the back of that thing is light. lol. it'll take a lot of paint and time. Also, I would want to paint/blackout the grey piece that the lic plate attaches too.

Looks nice! If you had a red pinstripe it would look like a '79 De'Marchand. Was that part of your inspiration?

Are you a mind reader Ben? a solid red pin strip was the plan but it look so good without it that I didnt put it on but im still thinking about adding one once I find one with the right thickness.

I, too, love the tail lights. I just got mine a week ago and am waiting on the tint film. What was the product you used? Could you tell us the process? I really like it and it's glossy. Job well done. :thumbsup:

Honestly, I do not understand the new trend in the big rim/gangster community of painting vehicles with the lighter color on top of a darker color.

From a stylistic standpoint, my OPINION is that Dark is always better on top for the fact that if you tint your windows they tend to blend in with the darker paint.

If it is lighter on top then the window sections stick out and draws the eye towards the windows.

Very distracting.

The paint job is nice, but I personally do not like the style.

Of course I also do not like blackouts on anything but a dark vehicle and I do not like clear lights on anything but very lightly colored vehicles....

Do not get me started on the tri-tone.

I have always liked the lines of a STS and yes yours looks REAL nice. Slightly understated, but to the trained eye it is slightly modified!

Sevilles aren't 2-tone cars, by a long shot. Makes them look cheap.

I belive I saw a picture of 1badcads car before I painted my car. Im not ripping off anyones color scheme. I had plained painting my car thoses colors long before he posted the pics and was kind of unsure untill I saw the pics of his car. like I say no mater how fast you car is theres always someone faster. and no mater how I paint it theres always gonna be someone with the same or simalar paint job. I was gonna go candy apple red but its a little to bling bling 4 Me. as for the paint its matrix line of to be for shure the clear is ppg the expensive high solids concept ????? forgot the rest of the name. and the paint for the tail lights is clearcoat mixed with the black paint.

I just found a picture of the car our colors arent even the same simalar but not the same. I like the rims I have but im not too happy with the fitment I got them because the price was right and i needed new tires they where cheaper the a new set of 20"s so I hopped on them. thats a picture of 1badcads car.

The two tone is sick, the wheels however are throwing it off just a tad. Im fan of the big boy wheels, another design though would set it off.

dudes are just hating the paint looks dope man, i got a 1995 sls champaign color and i wanted to paint it but its hard to decide a color because of my interior
