Should I ask my local dealer about installing the shifter? or is that something maybe only Lindsay does???

Thanks

Keith

MY Dealer did it. cost more money but at least they did it. i also got them to state that it will only void the warrentee on the factory shifter.

You could do the install yourself. You just need some basic stuff: a drill motor, a drill bit, a couple of wrenches, a screwdriver, a jack, and a little spirit of adventure.

Smart man, others have posted issues with warranties due to an aftermarket shifter.

Unless the warranty issue bothers you you can definitley save the $$ and do it yourself. Took me about 3 hrs the first time but after you know where everything is it's really not that hard. I'm pretty sure there is a good walkthrough of the process at caddilacfaq
