2007 V8 w/ tire pressure monitors. The monitors have failed 3 times. 2 times in right front (replaced successfully by dealer) and now in left front tire. I watch tire pressure closely w/ a tire gage and hate having it shown on dash.
ANYWAY to disable them..............

The dealer can do it with a TECH2... but probably won't. It is a so called safety feature.

Interestingly on a x-country trip in Oct. within the first hour of driving I'd get the low press. warning for the front tires only. After determining tire pressure was OK I kept driving and the warning would stop, often within 30 mins after the first warning. Next morning same repeat. Sometimes it was the left front, sometimes right and on one occasion both. Haven't had a repeat since returning home so haven't bothered to take in for service.

You might try to get the dealer to check the module that RECIEVES the signal from the monitors that are INSIDE the tire.

I think it is the power lock module. Usually under the passengers front seat. Sometimes it is the one that is bad, and doesn't process the signals from the tires correctly.

Then it gives you the error message on the dash. Just a thought.
