your hitting the governer.

check out domesticperformance.com for a chip, you'll hit 150 easy with it

do you have a ETC or base? what i dont get, is a base should only do 112, a ETC will do either 130 or 150 depending on which tires came oem, so where is 120 comming from. my 4.0 northstar has no problem hitting 130, up to 140, so i know your 4.6 isn't running out of power

i have a regular eldorado, but i bought the distributor coils, and bosch quad platinum spark plugs, i know when i get to 120mph, the car loses power. but its as simple and buy that mod chip and replacing its current chip? im gonna try that with in the next 2-3 weeks when i save up the $370.00.... thanx alot, i hope it works and i dont waste my money

You'll make more power and go faster with the OEM dual platinum plugs. The Bosch plugs (the Bosch +4 plugs specifically) do NOT make as much power. The "quad" ground electrodes are NOT platinum (that is why they put 4 of them on there so they can wear 4 times as long....LOL) and the 4 ground electrodes tend to isolate the flame kernal when combustion starts and impede the flame front propogation causing HP loss. Seen it on the engine dyno.....
