Just wanted to let you guys know out there who are interested. I bought the cable that connects to my iPhone or if you have an iPod it works too. The quality is unbelievable and it works very very well. I like using it to make playlists so I don't need CD's. However it gets boring looking at the AUX Video button with a black screen so I just put my Nav screen on to look special :cool2:. Also when I get a call, the ringtone is played through my system and it sounds really cool! If anyone is interested they should definetly purchase it! It cost me $50 and I got it at Best Buy, it works the same as you would get for the TV.

When the iPhone is connected via bluetooth, and you are listening to the car radio, does the radio mute when you answer an incoming phone call? I have the updated software (my service bulletin states it was per TSB #05-08-126-001B) but my radio still doesn't mute 95% of the time. This is maddening!!!!!!!!!!

I too have an iPhone and supposedly I had the software update done on my system as well. My radio does not mute the vast majority of the time either, and you are right... it is absolutely maddening.

My iPhone is connected through a cable that is the same as you were to connect to the TV. The audio is superb and when a call comes through it stops the music and plays whatever ringtone goes on. No you cannot control it through the steering wheel, only the volume off the wheel.
