Would 22" wheels with 9.5" width fit on a 2007 STS without rubbing?

It depends on the most important dimension, offset. Match the factory measurement and you've got a good start. You'll be well on your way to shiny cultivator wheels that kill your ride, performance, and handling.

I have 22 x 8.5 in front and 22 x 10.5 in back..... Both rub! bad too.... but it makes the car look so good

Consult the "But Wait, There's More..." department of the November 12 issue of Autoweek. There is a photo without caption of a green '76-or-so Caprice sporting what look like 30" chromed wheels with rubber band tires. "John Deere" is painted in yellow on the sides and the leaping stag logo graces the rear quarter panels. (Sorry, but try as I might, I couldn't retrieve the photo for display here.)

I know, it's purely a personal choice, and aesthetic judgments are subjective, and it's not my car, and it IS your money, but I can't help myself: WHY? :confused:

(Especially when there are all these perfectly good Escalades that actually look OK wearing 22s.)
