Ignoring the fact that the info he supplied is wrong (IE 307 is not TBI) and others.... well, take a look for yourself, if you can manage to read the whole thing (I got half way before I had to stop) then look at the pictures.... and... whats up with the last 2 pictures not even being that car (notice interior color?)

Let's just hope someone isn't dumb enough to pay anywhere near that much for that car, tho if they do, then I guess the seller gets a pat on the back.

If you read far enough, he says the last two pictures are of the parts car that sacrificed it's bodywork to keep "all original" paint on the first Brougham. ;)

soooo..... the car was wrecked and now repaired, or you are buying a wrecked car? I guess I got lost in all the large font size caps and hard to understand wording...

This car has been on eBay about 12 times and NEVER sells. Those pictures of the wreck scare everyone off, and they have every right to be scared. If the salesman had any sense, he would take some new pictures and leave out the wreck pictures. He says you couldn't even tell the car was wrecked, so why does he tell us? I appreciate the fact that he does (so that I DON'T buy it), but if I were trying to make a buck, I'd leave that part out. He just isn't very bright.

He also says he drives many very expensive cars (he apparently has a spoon up his nose), and that this one qualifies to be one of his. But what kind of standard is that?? Besides if the car is so great why don't you keep it, like you say you want to?? And I CAN notice a difference. The donor car had white lower-moulding whereas the original was silver. How does he explain one side being silver and one being white?

Oh and he's also asking wayy to much, especially for a wrecked car. He clearly has now idea about how to market a car; he's probably wracked up more eBay charges than he'll get for the car.

EXACTLY. SO many cars have been in accidents of all kinds...but that doesn't necessarily mean blatantly pointing out previous damage, parts cars used, etc. is the smartest thing to show in the midst of the main ad.

If anything, mention it had a light repair (or not), and email pictures upon request...but even that, isn't necessarily common.

My Brougham was in a fender and needed new front driver quarter panel. So I bought one, put it on, painted it, did the pinstripe myself... all for under 2 bills. I sold it the next week right out my driveway. No one ever knew, nor will anyone ever know probably. But I didn't mention a word of it. If he asked I would have told him, but he didn't ask. ;) BTW, I made a $600 profit off that car. :D

This is true. The guys soft. Couldnt have said it better. Its been on many times, and he shouldnt show those photos. He will never sell it now that the whole ebay population knows.
I remeber he parted the rest of the parts car out, and was asking CRAZY money for the parts. Even tried selling broken parts, damaged doors and the front bumper. Come on guy......:thepan:
