I'm getting the Fleetwood ready to head off to the wild blue yonder on a trip in a couple of weeks. One of the things that has been broken since I owned the car is the speed sensitive steering. Mine runs at full tilt all the time. I really just want to disable the system so that it runs at a lower boost rate all the time. Is this possible?

I'm also doing the brakes again. Just did them this time last year with new rotors from Napa. Rotors are warped again after only 10k miles... Back brakes are working as designed. Have new calipers up front. Don't understand why the dang things are already warped again.

You can unplug it for full assist all the time.

Or you can swap to a Caprice/Impala SS power steering unit so you do not have the assist.

As for the rotors, my original AC delco rotors lasted 70,000 miles on my Fleetwood. I just put new rotors on my Roadmaster, went with AC delco
