Hint: It's long, black, has suicide doors and hasn't been 'in service' in forty years (answer at bottom of post).

The car is five hours away. My dad, girlfriend and I are leaving at 5:30 am tomorrow to bring her home. I'll make sure you guys get the full story and all the pics then. :)

Answer: It's a 1950 Cadillac Commercial Chassis model. A "Duplex" limousune-style combination (hearse and ambulance), built by A.J. Miller of Ohio to be specific.

UPDATE (as posted on Professional Car Board):

Well, we got up and left, only to find the roads had a little more snow on them than the forecast had predicted. We met up with Andrew (truck n' trailer driver) and headed off to pick the car up. After about a half-hour of driving on the Trans-Canada, it became apparent that we'd have to give up for the day. The weather was becomming steadily worse, and the roads had not been properly salted... even if they had, we were against driving the old coach back only to be sprayed with salt the whole time. The trailer was swaying back and forth a lot, even at slow speeds. We all decided a safe trip home later was better than a risky trip now.

Weather pending, we're on for next Saturday. Now it's time to be patient... and how hard that is. I'm going crazy and its only Sunday! Hope the weather holds out...
