Being nosey, I just went to my local AutoZone web site and punched in
FASTENERS
in the search block.
for an '86 Cadillac. I couldn't remember yours for the moment, anyway, besides, they have mine in their database as a '95 and I figured they'd go nuts with the "new" car.
So they came up with three different kinds of fasteners, all of which look vaguely like a rounded Tee.
Your local auto parts supply house would probably have something like this also.
The parts shouldn't be too awfully expensive.
Good hunting.

I think it depends on which parts monkey you talk to.
Some of the better stores have shelves with something like "HELP" packages with funny little stuff inside like the center dots inside window cranks of specific vehicles or specific tail light lenses.
You might be able to find those fasteners there.

I need some too. If I can figure out how to remove them once they are in I could get them at a junk yard. Everytime I try t0 remove them they break.

There are a number of automotive fastener companies listed on the 'net who will be able to help you. Be aware that they will likely only sell in quantities of 50 or so.
