The '08 Cts weighs in at 3,872, thats about 304 lb heavier than the '07. The older V's weigh in about 280 heavier than the Cts, So if you couple that with a little added weight for the expected supercharger, Then the new V could easily weigh in at over 4,200 lb,unless they can somehow reduce the body weight from the new Cts. That will certainly hurt any added hp that is expected. Assuming I have picked up the right specs for these cars the new V could be chubby

Look at it this way. Ten years from now, when you are trading your V back to dealer and negotiating a trade in price, they will ask you how much it weighs. Let's pretend that junk metal is worth....

It will weigh over 5,000 lbs with 40/60 distribution in order to eliminate wheelhop.
