View Full Version : How do you take your milk? I~LUV~Caddys8792 11-26-07, 03:52 PM Thought I'd jump on board the beverage bandwagon with this one...how do you prefer your milk? Chocolate, regular or (god forbid) soy? Or there's skim, 2% or whole?
For me, it's 2% chocolate all the way! EcSTSatic 11-26-07, 03:57 PM I've been drinking skim for so long that whole milk tastes like cream.
We used to drink sterilized milk after we were at sea and ran out of the regular pasteurized stuff. Yuk! I guess that's what the Europeans drink. Night Wolf 11-26-07, 03:57 PM 2% regular gdwriter 11-26-07, 04:03 PM I cannot stand the taste or texture of milk and haven't drank it in 20+ years. I wish I could stand it because I know it's good for you, but I just can't.
I do buy 2% to put on my cereal, though. My cat Pepper watches me like a vulture while I'm eating breakfast, waiting for me to finish so she can have the milk. I prefer skim. It settles better in my stomach.
Never was a fan of chocolate milk. Something about chocolate + milk doesn't sit right with me. I like whole milk. I really really like half and half. MORE FAT PLEASE!
Soy milk is enjoyable in the can as an occasional sweet beverage. Florian 11-26-07, 04:23 PM I've been drinking skim for so long that whole milk tastes like cream.

F Boombotz 11-26-07, 04:28 PM Whats white milk ewill3rd 11-26-07, 04:41 PM I used to drink 2% or whole milk on and off, I was putting on a lot of weight and the missus put me on "fat free" milk (skim).
It is okay, makes 2% a treat! I used to hate skim milk.
I have to have at least one glass a day, straight up, right before bed. Helps me go to sleep better.
I only have problems when I travel, sometimes it is hard to find. My son can't drink milk, long story. (he has inner ear problems if he does) and my wife won't drink milk so I get it all to myself.
:D 96Fleetwood 11-26-07, 04:57 PM Skim milk... all the benefits of milk without the fatty fat fat  xshrpshtr 11-26-07, 05:30 PM I like it straight from the tit. My_favorite_Brougham 11-26-07, 05:41 PM You forgot the option for "none." I dont drink milk...lol
It's nasty..........eww I~LUV~Caddys8792 11-26-07, 06:02 PM I like it straight from the tit.
Oh, the VERY whole kind.
Whats white milk
The most racist milk out there. Benzilla 11-26-07, 06:04 PM Skim. For a while I thought I was lactose intolerant, so I drank soy milk.... horrible!! How the hell do you milk a soy bean anyway? It was never meant to be, an abomination. You can't even use it in cooking without messing everything up. I~LUV~Caddys8792 11-26-07, 06:10 PM Skim. Skim and hot please and some coffee with it and eat some cookies .....Cookies ????? Lolapozzzaaaaaaaaaa I gotta post a poll on the fave cookies  Since I was beaten to "right from the tit" I'll just say skim. :banghead: Seriously though, fresh-from-the-cow unpastuerized milk is fawking amazingly good... That'd be my choice! CadillacGurl 11-26-07, 11:39 PM I drink either skim or soy milk. I normally drink soy at school... We used to drink sterilized milk after we were at sea and ran out of the regular pasteurized stuff. Yuk! I guess that's what the Europeans drink.
Ha ha! We called it space milk.
I drink 2%. Have chocolate on occasion & have tried Soy. My dad drinks Soy. The vanilla isn't terrible, but the chocolate is a bit chalky Chocolate milk is the best. For plain milk, whole milk is the only way to go. nyyankeehater 11-29-07, 09:02 PM Skim is just nasty. 2% pimpin88 11-29-07, 09:11 PM Skim milk all the way! I'm with Elias. None of the fat. ewill3rd 11-29-07, 09:55 PM Sadly, you get used to the skim after a while.
It made me want to hurl when I was a kid drinking whole milk. Now... not so bad. |
