So the other post on coffee made me do this... While I LOVE a good cup of coffee, I'm mainly English - so I am a tea-totaler at heart... and I drink ALL day long, both iced and hot.
As a kid I was brought up on iced tea.. we always had it, if nothing else you always knew there'd be a gallon brewing after we got home from school. The only thing that's changed for me now is my iced tea is green tea now. While I enjoy a hearty black/orange pekoe blend, the delicateness of green tea makes it perfect for a cold drink. I know a lot of people prefer sweet tea, not me.. I actually like the taste of tea - I only put a quarter cup of sugar in an entire gallon of my iced tea. And honestly, green tea is some pretty miraculous stuff... I switched to it about ten years ago or so an when I did I felt a HUGE difference after a couple of weeks.
Hot tea is a different story... I like a heartier tea... Breakfast Tea in the morning, either English or Irish. Afternoon Tea I prefer a good Darjeeling.. and at night a full-on Earl Gray.
If you'd like to start learning more about tea, the US Tea Council (http://www.teausa.com/) and the UK Tea Coucil (http://www.tea.co.uk/index.php?pgId=24) are both great places to start.
