I am a strong proponent of firearms for personal defense. I myself carry pretty much all the time except when I'm at school. I agree though, that anyone who would pull their gun in a road rage argument shouldnt be carrying. My question is, what was the 15yo doing A) driving a car, and B) carrying a gun?

Well we don't know any details of what happened, except someone is dead, the 15 year old. Although a 15 year could have had a hardship driver's license, he's certainly not old enough to be in legal possession of a firearm.

If it's a case the 15 year old pulled out a gun first but the 30 year old beat him to the shot, then the 30 year old was simply defending himself. But again, we do not know any details of what actually happened so to speculate really serves no purpose. The Grand Jury gets to handle that.

The laws changed here in Texas on Sept. 1st with the passing of the Motorist protection act and Castle Law. If you choose to be a dumbazz and brandish a weapon, you had better also be prepared that the other person may now also have a gun and can shoot you for doing so. It's probably going to take a few of these type cases before people start to understand the excessive road rage stuff can get you shot and/or dumbazzez who want to display weapons to act tough or scare someone else can get them shot.
