Hello. This is my first post. I was wondering if anyone knew anthing about SSAutoChrome headers. Are the worth buying and do they fit? I have an 82 Fleetwood with a 425. Thanks

I believe your best solution would be to contact whomever you were purchasing them from.

Hey, for $125 they are OK. I don't know about using them in a stock application but they work for me on a 500 Cad in a '51 Olds Street Rod. By the way, I got them on eBay for the $125, I don't know what they get for them otherwise.

Those are the block hugger headers, right? Check the clearance between the collecter flange and the front cross-member. I think you'll see that there isn't enough room to connect the exhaust.

Those headers are designed for use in street rods that have no cross-member behind the motor mounts.

Sandersen has a set of headers (CAD600) that are supposed to fit 68-76 RWD Caddys but they are kinda pricey.

I have these headers.

Good:
Thick Flanges.
Decent Welding.
Reducers/hardware included.

Bad:
Poor chrome, don't look that great
Holes did not line up. Took 1 hour to file them out.

Summary: Well worth $125.

Bingo. We have a winner. I rescued my 472 from a super ugly 1974 Deville. It's in a '78 Scout.
