I have an Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 Pro installed on my notebook .However that feckin' thing was a trial and I can no longer read my documents nor can I read some PDF files on the net .
So,is there an alternative program ro read PDF documents other than Adobe stuffs

... or, you just download Acrobat Reader. It's free and never expires, and offers free version upgrades later. If you went to the Adobe site to get something to just READ documents, and you downloaded Acrobat Pro, you made a boo boo. Uninstall Acrobat Pro, go back to the Adobe site, and download the free Acrobat Reader.

If you want to WRITE pdf documents, though, you're going to need to pay for Acrobat Pro or some other pdf editor/publisher. I downloaded Adobe Reader 8 (basic version ) and it seems things are ok :bouncy:

Open Office should read and save in .pdf and it's free

"Make your documents freely available with WRITER's HTML export to the web, or publish in Portable Document Format (.pdf) to guarantee that what you write is what your reader sees."
