Just registered in the forum and I'm here to introduce myself, as requested. I have a 2006 STS-V that I purchased in April of '06. I am quite happy with it although I do have some of the problems I have seen mentioned already. These include the front seat noise, the lack of voice recognition, and some blue tooth difficulties.

I did attend the inaugaral session of the V-Performance Academy that was held at Road Atlanta in October. Fortunately for me :) there were only 5 of us that attended, although the class was designed for between 20 and 30. It gave us the opportunity to spend more time on all aspects of the hands on portions. It probably was the best time I have ever experienced in an automobile and it gave me an all new appreciation for the V-Series. When they say that these cars were meant to be driven, they are not kidding. There were 5 models of each 2007 V there and it was quite impressive to see that many all in one place. The instructors were most professional and they, as well as the Cadillac team, treated us remarkably well. I was quite pleased with the entire experience. I would really like to go again, but doubt that I will be able to.

I joined the forum so I could update my knowledge of the car, and find ways to improve it. I look forward to checking the STS-V listings in the future.

Thanks for the welcome. In answer to pictures, I have a couple,, but they are box stock.

I am not a computer guru, but will try to attach some to this reply. One is a picture of mine, and the other is a picture I took with my cell phone of The Road Atlanta V-Series Performance Academy.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot here.
