Yeah, I'll use the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player too, but again... need the nice TV :)

I have never owned a DVD player, my PS2 was my DVD player the entire time, Dolby Digital/dts 5.1 and all.... people said it woudln't be a good DVD player, I never had a problem with it :)

I use a plasma for PS2 ...However there is something wrong with the entire system set up .I think I better switch it back to the flat tv .
BTW, PS2 has got some quirks .It's a chip so I think copy games can be played but you can't play DVD RW or CD RW disks :doh:

You lucky bastard... I wish I still had my Colecovision. I think my brother ended up taking it which means it's probably destroyed by now. As far as the Ataris go I've got the 2600 and the 7200 both with boxes full of games... I enjoy playing them more than all this "new-fangled" stuff... I'll probably pick up one of these PS3s in a couple years when they're dirt cheap on ebay.

Hey, Hitmoney is NFS: Prostreet worth it? I tried the demo, but seemed way to easy to total your car, almost too easy. AI tapped me, spun me out and mister pole ended my career.

I just got my rank up to 26 on the PS3, not bad! Hehe. Hard as hell to aim, but my dip back to Halo helped.

NFSPS Is cool, definetlly not the best NFS but it is different... geared more towards racing than running from the cops. There are no wide open maps and such. The racing can be a bit repetitive, and the cut scene is repetitive as well, but I am having fun with it. I like building the car. The drag racing is fun once you get the hang of it as well. Car damage is a plus.

Car control is up to how you have the "assist" set up. If you turn it all off, it is extremely realistic.
