I've seen lots of jury rigged wiring attemps to gain blower control over this era.....Can I do it with a Rheostat, blower switch? I hear actuation when I change positions via the lever.....

Mine only works when it feels like it. My climatre control is probably bad. I am gonna run a wire direct to the blower, and then a switch under the dash. That way I can flip the blower on when I want to.
I had to do that to a Benz I had also.
