Cadillac Giovanni 11-19-07, 01:10 PM I actually just ran across that site a few days ago for the first time. Much of their stuff seems rather expensive actually. caddycruiser 11-19-07, 09:22 PM I've heard of them before, but I've been sticking to: http://www.gmpartshouse.com http://www.rmsautoparts.com Between the two of them, I get every little thing I need for usually the best prices--and with known great service. cadillackid64 11-20-07, 12:54 AM I guess it depends what your looking for. Brake, suspension or engine parts I get locally. The kinds of parts I was looking for were like trim pieces that go under the windows on the exterior (belt moulding), their supposed to be like graphite gray clear coat and the paint wore off mine. I also need the plastic insert that is part of the inner fender that covers up the level ride compressor. Those parts were on both sites but slightly more on the GM Parts House site. It actually looked like the sites were the same company as the icons are very similar etc. I realize I'm kind of looking for stupid cosmetic stuff but Hey this is my hobby!! Thanks for the RMS link, that one looks pretty good! Lord Cadillac 11-20-07, 01:57 AM http://www.cadillacforums.com/cadillac-parts/ caddycruiser 11-20-07, 11:18 PM Understandable. A lot of people prefer to get some mechanical items locally, but with the internet, there are some great sources to get both that stuff AND any specific trim, etc. you desire. For the trim and such, either search through the Replacement parts system on a site like GMPartsHouse or email the manager/director Gene there (linked on the site). I've been getting specific trim and other pieces through him and the site now for a bit, and am thrilled everytime--especially with the speed and prices. Everyone on the internet seems to automatically assume GMPartsDirect.com just because the name has gotten around so much, but their shipping costs are bizarre and they really don't offer anything special other places can't get for the same or less. So, still, my best recommendations--from someone who orders EVERYTHING--is still between GMPartsHouse and RMS:thumbsup: | |
