A bad ignition switch will do this and that is a known problem for 98 and 99

Next a bad PK III module. Again it was new for the 98 and 99.

I have replace several of both for a no start condition.

You should hear a click if it is the starter solenoid.

The ignition switch problem is a power moding issue.

Take all of the autozone parts off and replace with quality parts, autozone is known for bad electronics and low quality parts. good luck on your car. TexasCadillac
