I have a weird thing going on with my catera. When I am driving my shift lever handle vibrates. Seems like its not bolted or not fixed to anything. Is this my car or do other people see this too?. I have never seen this with any other automatic cars. I had a mazda on stick only there it was the same thing.

it is usually due to a front end vibration. as in alignment, control arm or idler arm. even unbalanced tires. let me guess, you notice it mostly between 45 and 55 mph.

A few months ago i was at the chop and they did alignment and also checked all the stuff under the car. Everything is ok. So it should be something different...
