94 SLS seville when i'm driving smoke is coming from under the hood also when I turn the car off I have a solenoid code p029 but thats it and a service engine soon light which I believe is related to the solenoid when I turn the car off I open the hood i think it coming from the radiator should I get a new radiator and I hear a crackling (rice krispies) sound?? anybody have a solenoid problem where you sevice engine soon light comes on

wow this is weird all of a sudden there have been three posts regarding this issue with in the past 2 weeks.
That cracking you hear may just be the coil packs going off for the spark plugs I hear it as well but its coming from the packs in the back.
as for stuff coming out of the rad. Well mine just recently did this it comes out from the top underneath the frame of the car. I don't know it i need a new rad or what. I should be taking it to the mechanic some time this week if i can.
But i would also like to know this verdict.

Need to determine for sure whether it's smoke or steam. Steam = Very good chance of Rad, Smoke = something like oil etc etc.

In my case steam was coming from the same area, my rad is fried.

That sounds like the exhaust system contracting as it cools.

I dare say, it's comin from off the rads or coolant reservoir . A tiny crack to the hose might cause that too from what I see
