when you go in install
follow my instructions here

also i also hope you have BOSE or else all of that is completely irrelevant, as its a different wiring system and may not interface with a non bose car

no prob
how much you looking to spend on a Nav?
keep in mind since you have a 00, to keep your cd changer you MUST upgrade the changer to a 2002+ as well as do some wiring at the changer plug

Im not really sure how much a nav unit cost. I was hoping to spend around $600 for one, but thats just want I want to spend. I will spend more if I have to.

600 usually is the price on a used nav
then figure about 100 bucks for the cd changer
70 for the antenna
200 for the newest nav disc on gmnavdisc (otherwise its about 50-100 on ebay)

if you have an aim sn feel free to im me if you have more questions

I've got another question. I heard that you can't put sub's in a Seville because their apparently is a fuse box right behind the rear seat and the vibrations that the woofers cause will stall out you're car. Now I have a friend with a sound system that hits so freaking hard it hurts you're head and his Seville STS runs great. have you heard of anything like this?

I was planning on putting 2 12in Rockford Fosgates with a 400watt amp. Just enough so it hits and sounds good.

i run 3 JL 12W6s in my 03 STS
never had a problem whatsoever
and there isnt a fuse box on 98+ Sevilles behind the rear seat
its underneath the rear seat bottom

I wasn't sure about there being a fuse box behind the rear seat but I knew about the one under. idk what that guy was talking about but I'm getting those woofers. Oh, are you turning you're sts into the sts-i?

What have you done so far? I've put dual magnaflows plus taken the cats off. I painted the grill so its black and chrome and the lip is dark black as well as the skirts and bumper (My cars silver btw). i already have the decals made but I saw that blue decal on the black sts-i on your pic. what is that symbol and where can I get it??? plus i got cross drilled and slotted rotors and 1.7 in lowering springs.
