I really need help. What would cause cylinders and lifters to go bad? Less tha n 80,000 miles. No lights came on day it happened. Well maintained. Could it have been oil pump?

You are way too vague in your description of your problem. Are the lifters worn out? broken? stuck? Are the cylinders cracked? worn out? low compression? burning oil? If you could give us some precise measurements, descriptions, or pictures it would be a big help.
Engine parts don't just "go bad". Milk goes bad when you leave it out on the counter.

just wondering how would I maintain the lifters. would an engine flush do it?

All I have is mechanic info. Said everything ws clean but oil was not getting where it should be. Damaged lifters, badly damaged cylinder heads and burned and scarred camshafts, camshaft bearing surface and camshaft bearing caps due to lack of oil. Oil changed 3500 miles prior. Had been to dealer numerous times for low oil pressure and oil light on.
