If it aint broke....

At that mileage, you would not likely see any benefit from new plugs unless you are experiencing a miss. And your engine has a coil-on-plug ignition so there are no high voltage wires to change.

The fuel filter on my '98 is the one installed at the factory 164,xxx miles ago.

What you should pay attention to is the condition of the coolant. The recommended change interval is 100,000 miles or 5 years, whichever occurs first. Do you know or can you determine when your coolant was last refreshed?

Happy motoring.

speedydog, you won't need a "tuneup" for 2 more years at 20,000 miles a year.

Spend the money you have now on a real Factory Service Manual set instead, read up this winter, and go through these forums to find out how, what, and when to do it and where to get it........

Before you get antsy about "mods" and such, search in here to find out what's hype and what's real. You'll save $$$$.
