Don't know which mods you need installed but the better shops are in NJ and LI. Some of the names thrown around here include Cartek (http://www.cartek.net/) in NJ and Vette Doctors (http://www.thevettedoctors.com/) in Amityville, LI. I personally like the guys at TT Performance (http://www.ttperformance.net/) in Passaic, NJ. If you read GM High Tech Performance magazine, their shop is always featured in some of the articles. They're a great bunch of guys that do great work. One of them also owns a heavily modded V.

Welcome! From time to time you should also come out to Captree Park on Sunday mornings and see other V's in the wild.

Here's a group shot from this past January.

I guess you can consider my Z06 a close relative? Im a huge fan of the Vette Doctors out on Long Island and they are the only shop other than ECS (East Coast Supercharging in NJ) that will work on my car.. They did some repair work on my Z06 and did an awesome job.. On top of that a good friend of mine has been using them since 91/92 when he got his first ZR1 and only has great things to say about Carmen and Dennis.. I would definitely give Carmen and Dennis a buzz if you want some work done..

Where is Captree Park? Is it any Sunday?

It's pretty much every Sunday, weather permitting. Take the Meadowbrook Parkway South to the end (Jones Beach). That turns into Ocean Parkway -- take that to the end. Proceed through the toll booths (no fee) and park in the lot. You'll see old cars, new cars, fast cars, and slow ones. Enzo's, Lambos, Vettes, Mustangs, Benz's, Beemers, Porsche's, and much much more. If the V guys aren't there, I generally hang with the ZO6 and Viper crew. They've adopted me. :)
