View Full Version : What's a Good Price? - '08 DTS Luxury I

My 86-year-old grandmother is looking at a '08 DTS Luxury I Package - just a few additional options with nothing fancy. Unfortunately, she's lives several states away and I can't go to the dealer with her. She plans to pay cash, and has been quoted $43,000 on a "White Diamond" colored DTS (includes tax and fees). The sticker was $46,635. Taxes and fees brought the total to $49,109.

So she's getting a 12.44% discount off the total price. That seems like a good deal, but I've never purchased a new Caddy and don't know if there are any dealer incentives available, etc.

Any advice and/or comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
CW

Why are you telling him to baragain up? Are you the salesman? :histeric: He already got 43K OUT THE DOOR. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I am a devoted Cadillac person, but your grandmother may be happier in a Hyundi Azera - more cush for the tusch and way less bread to make it happen - $28K fully loaded. :shhh:

Depends on 2 things:

1. What grandma drove previously. If she is used to a large Caddy, not much else will work. Really.

2. If you were first in line in the will, what would you rather inherit--a Caddy or a Hundai?
