I was behind a new Saturn Aura at a stoplight last night and I was blinded by the reflection of my HIDs from the Aura's chrome piece on the back of the trunk. Anyone else?

Anyone else? DLE 11-01-07, 11:14 AM Haha. I was never blinded by a Saturn Aura, but I have been blinded by some trucks a few times. Older trucks like Ford, etc that has that damn rear chrome bumper! When I am behind them, my HID's would reflect off that chrome bumper and blind the sh*t out of me. :p And yes, my hid's are adjusted down!! Brizzal 11-01-07, 12:23 PM Haha. I have already been blinded by the HID projectors in my CTS, I have never had that problem with the reflector HID in my Maxima. Projectors suck ass for so many reasons. I wish they would go back to reflectors. HITMONEY 11-01-07, 01:45 PM Haven't been blinded by a Saturn, but a few times by 18 wheelers that have chrome like rear doors on the trailer. It is like driving behind a mirror. yellowxhoodie 11-01-07, 01:56 PM never had that problem. i dont have HIDs :D tayhoe 11-01-07, 03:52 PM Now you know what oncoming cars feel like! JimmyH 11-01-07, 03:55 PM Now you know what oncoming cars feel like! Not necessarily. Chrome trim on bumpers is angled awkwardly, reflecting light up. In general, light from headlights, if aimed properly does not go up, it goes down. Though I will admit, Cadillac's projector lights are pretty annoying. I do feel guilty driving my CTS at night. Fortunately, I don't drive it at night very much. CadillacSTS2003 11-01-07, 04:07 PM lol my STS usually pisses people off all the time they drive slow when im behind them which is fine i just make sure i ride in that ONE spot where it blinds them the most they are especially helpful when im in the fastlane and theres the A$$ there who is driving the same speed as the car next to him in the slow lane and refuses to merge over.... EcSTSatic 11-01-07, 04:21 PM My brother had the old floor mounted windshield washer pump in his Challenger. If he pressed it hard enough he could hit the car windshield behind him. AMGoff 11-01-07, 04:55 PM I'd have to have some burning desire to own a car with HIDs for that to be a problem for me. Time for me to get back to the 20th century...
