anyone want to try? all you will most likely need is some extra 2in piping, few hangers and a few clamps and some tips from auto parts store again website to get it is www.rhodestoolsandexhaust.com part number is x150 xlerator x 150 dual 2in inlets/dual 2in outlets

anyone besides Catera MV6 want to try an x pipe as well? I want to but funds are short right now but it will be done some time later by me (specially if it sounds/performs better)

I think I might try it out. I just wanna know, will this increase the preformance of the car at all?

I know nothing about exhausts, but want to make the car a little bit better of the line. what's the benifits to the xpipe muffler.

well company says
All welded construction. (I have heard that fully welded mufflers produce the most power and will last the longest) This is the only company that still makes dual 2in inlet only other option is to get adaptor from 2in to 2.5in and go with another company

Smooth flow with high velocity.
Improvement on exhaust gas scavenging.
Balanced exhaust pulse and flow.
Aggressive performance sound.
Heavy gauge aluminized steel.
Takes the “X” out of the pipe, and puts the "X" inside the muffler.
Better performance.
Limited Lifetime consumer warranty.
CONSUMER BENEFITS
All welded construction for longer life.
Aggressive performance sound.
Better performance.
Limited Lifetime consumer warranty.

I am getting LS1 GTO exhaust on Saturday. I looked at it today at my friend's. He is selling me his stock used one. 2.5" pipe, 2 resonators, no back muffler. Modifications to be made: resonator hangers need to be welded in specific spots, new fitting to the cats needs to be modified (read: needs new). I will let you guys know ;) Oh yeah, I am also getting the whole suspension: springs, struts and shocks.

Is this to replace the resonator at the tail end... ?

If it is a 'real' muffler (not resonator), could it cause additional back-pressure, as we already have mufflers before the resonnator box... (those two units mid-way under car are the mufflers... the tail end 'box' is the resonnator).

I know one of us tried it with the mufflers off and just the resonnator at the back.... anyone tried the reverse: keep both mufflers and go straight pipe to tail pipe (no resonnator box) ?

actually i think someone did

I have no muffflers only rear resonator and id be replacing it with this xpipe muffler because of rattle in it
