Will this work on our cars? http://cgi.ebay.ca/Magnaflow-Muffler-Street-14-x5-x8-Universal-Fit-14832_W0QQitemZ220164544208QQihZ012QQcategoryZ3363 6QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Will I get a throaty sound or a lil' crappy RICER sound?

Will I have problems if I cut out my stock muffs, install these, dont like them, get my stock ones welded back in? Any warranty issues?

How nice /flush do these tips sit in with the bumper cut outs?

Another question that I asked a while back, but didnt get a real answer was, If a bunch of you guys threw on a V exhaust on ur 3.2L / 3.6L...why wouldnt I be able to throw on a Magnaflow 5.7L CTS-V exhaust?

He is trying to ask if he can install a Magnaflow that was made for the CTS-V 5.7L engine on a regular CTS. Just like putting the stock CTS-V exhaust on a regular CTS (That, Yes, Was already done before) :D

If you go with the Magnaflow you will NOT get a ricer sound. As far as warranty, I'm sure it's voided, but I had one dealer say my custom exhaust voided the warranty on my catalytic converter that failed, and another dealer repalced it under warranty...if the actual modification has nothing to do with the problem, then warranty is a non issue.

How nice/flush the tips sit depends on the person doing the work. If you have a good exhaust shop, they should make it fit real nice...

Don't see why you can't? Just check the diameter of the exhaust pipes and the diameter on the mufflers. I have V-pipes with a Magnaflow exhaust and when I did the install, i measured the INTERNAL diameter on the V-pipes and the magnaflow exhaust and they were the same, so I was good to go.

I would still like to do something with my exhaust but fear it will cause performance problems on a 2.8L.

Not too loud.. The cool thing is that it is more of a deep and throaty sound as opposed to a ricey, blaring sound...It's nothing where cops will pull you over for a modified exhaust unless they are just f!cking with you, but loud enough where another gear head will know that you did some work or think twice before they step to you if there is some doubt. My wife thinks it's too loud, but that is usually when you get some drone at 50 to 60 or driving through a very quiet neighborhood.

almost the same as mine, just a slightly different tip...

I have since painted the mufflers satin black and left the tips polished, looks much better in my oppinion

I have the magnaflow X-pipe andd did away with my resonator. I like the set up, and I think the addition of the X-pipe gave me more low end power
