I have an '03 CTS that started throwing the T/S, ABS, and Brake dash lights just recently. The T/C and ABS lights come on just after I start moving, the Brake light comes on soon after that.
I spoke to a mechanic friend of mine when it first happened and he said it was probably a wheel-speed sensor which is located in the wheel bearing and not to worry about it unless I experience odd braking behavior.
OK, no problem..... except now it has just started beeping non-stop.... and I mean NON-STOP while the car is moving, a very rapid dash tone..... very annoying!
My questions are:
1. Does anyone know or can they confirm that this behavior is typically caused by a wheel speed sensor?
2. Is there a secret that would allow me to turn off the d@mn beeping until I can get it to a dealer? (I've heard you can access the codes / clear them from the dash in some Caddies..... is mine one of them?)
Thanks!
