I just got my 2001 Catera Sport today. I'm loving the car! I'm trying my best to learn what each buttons does. One thing I noticed though is section of the instrument panel both the OIL PRESSURE and VOLTMETER do not light up along with the rest of the gauges... even if I put the full headlights on. I've even played around with the adjuster which adjusts the light output of the instrument panel. I'm guessing both bulbs behind are burnt?? Can someone verify that this is the cause, or is there some trick of getting it to turn on lol? If so, can somebody guide me on how to remove the instrument panel in order to replace these bulbs? I don't wanna end up breaking any clips or parts in the process.
Thanks in advance!

No trick. Either they work or not. As for replacing bulbs, I've never done it but I did find this on the Omega site. Now don't forget, those cars are RHD. Remember that when reading the instructions and looking at the pictures.

Cool! Thanks! It's good enough. It gives me something to work with.

Scratch that. I found a better page. This one is Catera specific.

I had the same problem with my oil pressure and voltmeter, for months i would just bang on the cluster a few times and they would come on, i guess it is the bulbs afterall
