Hey, guys,

Just pulled the trigger and bought a LS7 crate motor, brand new, less ECM, harness, starter, and alternator. I'll put it in my '04 V with 122k miles and sell the LS6 that has 118k miles with Patriot Stage 2 heads. It's running smooth as silk.

Can anyone help with sources for ECM, harness, or anything else needed? I'm aware of Katech and Ultimate Motors. Anyone else I should contact? I need to talk to c5racr but his box is full.

Thanks,

Jack

Bad A$$ motor, keep us informed on the progress and the results (pic's a plus).

Will you be doing the install yourself?

Dude... You soooooo beat me to the punch on this... Cant you get a harness and PCM from GM? This will be a 17000.00 install when its all said and done... A hot rod shop would be able to find a custom harness...

122??? That's a lot of driving!!! My 05 came with 19K a couple months ago.

NICE

What mods are going in with it?

Jack, your stock PCM will run a LS7 if the reluctor wheel is changed to a 24x along with a few other minor changes.
