Hey Everyone,
My parents just purchased a 2007 DTS Perforamnce from the US and it is such a nice car.... I've been driving it more than my CTS at the moment just because of all the features it has heh.

Anyways, we live in Canada and when we picked up the car, I changed the setting on the DIC so the car would display metric units, however I noticed that the Navigation System and the Voice Guidance still uses miles. I checked the settings on the Navigation System, yet I wasn't able to see any setting to change the units.

Does anyone know if this is possible? if it's not, it's not a HUGE deal as my parents understand miles easily (it's ME that has never been able to relate the two haha).

I looked at my 2006 Nav. Did "NOT" find any way to change it from miles to km.

I looked at my 2006 Nav. Did "NOT" find any way to change it from miles to km.Thanks for looking into that Superjim, it's funny it doesn't change over as the Nav. Guide says it's a setting in the DIC to change the NAV units (which is incorrect as we found out).

I'll ask the dealership to see if they know any info about this.

Never thought about looking THERE.

I looked again....this time in the DIC. "IT DOES CHANGE" to km and back to miles when you change it in the DIC. Good to know.

I moved the map about a mile from where I actually "AM", then changed the DIC to KM and the nav changed also.

And it still won't show the time.

And why should it? It is a Navigation (MAP) screen...not a clock.

There is a nice, very readable clock just above it.

The radio (if it is on and not on a commercial free station) gives you the time every few minutes.

My cell phone displays the time.

My watch displays the time.

I don't NEED OR WANT another display of the time. There is enough junk displayed on the nav screen now.

Jim from TexasHmm I guess I'll have to talk to the dealership since I'm stuck with the odd issue of the units on the dash changing to KM, but not on the NAV. Thanks for looking at that again.
