I have a 2007 with the 3.6L at 255 HP. If i was to change out the stock exhaust and add either the V exhaust or an after market one, how much more HP will i be getting. My next move will be this and im hoping to boost the HP a bit at the same time. Hit me up with some info guys. Oh and give me a few good exhaust systems i should look at. :D
Do a search on this; I think there was a thread that covered this. And IIRC the CTS actually dyno'ed less power with the V exhaust.
It's not going to help unless you have Big3 tune the car for you. And even then, I'm not sure how much you'll get.

Exhaust sets the way for future upgrades.
It will help a little now, but maybe only a few horse here or there.
If you are looking for a number, how is 10 hp.

there's scant dyno data here concerning exhausts on CTSs. Vs are another story. we're dyno freaks

Every exhaust setup for the 3.6 has only lead to speculation. There are no hard numbers for a 3.6 exhaust.
The only exhaust with hard numbers that Im aware of is the 3.2 Borla setup.
