What color HID's are you guys using... Is 8000k really really blue? I want mostly white with a blue tint, im thinking 6000k. Any info on the $50 ($40 shipping) kits off of ebay that require no mod etc etc...?

6,000K are the way to go. 8,000K are WAY too blue IMO. Looks cheap and ricer-ish, no offense.

ya I got everything the only thing I had to do was drill a 3/8 hole in the access cap make it larger with a box cutter and use a curved file and shape it round to size for the rubber gromit to fit.

For the people with HID have the tough of getting HID for your HIGH beams ever cross your mind.

I know it would be wrong, but for the times you want to get revenge, or light up your county.

Many new cars have bi-xenon, so they do have high-beam hid.

I got 4300k kit for my headlights and it looks fantastic. It looks factory and not riceish like other colors can be. For fogs I got the 3000k kit, which is an intense yellow color, which is awesome for snow and fog (fog lights used for fog! who would have thought!) Both kits from TopPSI

Tmtran44,

He got them from our group buy that we have going on. Each kit is $150 shipped within the United States or $162 shipped to Canada.

Click here for the group buy thread (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-group-purchases-member-discounts/120446-top-psi-hid-kits-ddm-slim.html#post1270221)

Glad you like them, Dmitri!

Thanks!

Has anyone actually upgraded the hi beams? I did this to my Denali and it is awesome. The high beams in the CTS are a straight out bulb. I ended up getting Silverstar's. Not at all what I wanted but they were the only bulbs out there that were a straight out design.
I have superwhite 9005 fogs that are sickening. But with all the posts about HID's on this forum. I am going to have to succumb to yet another set of HID's to keep up. LOL
IMO the 6000K are the way to go. I have 6000's in my low and hi beams on my denali. They are sick.

Every kit that I have dealt with are straight out bulbs, so I am not sure what you're talking about there.
