Anyone know which models are getting the v12 treatment first?
I heard that it's going to be the escalades that are going to come out with the v12.
Could it be possible that XLR will have the v12 in them instead of the rumored forced induction system when the C6 rolls out?

As far as I've heard, the trucks will get the V-12 first.

Autoweek did a little piece back a month or so ago that had the new bigger Escalade (ESV?) along with a regular sized Escalade that had the 7.5 L V12. In that form I believe they said Cadillac claimed 600 hp in it, but it only felt like 500 hp or so, and then only 400 would actually see production.

400 is OK! I could live with it. Remember, If you've read any of the info thats come out on the V-12 it is supposed to take up no more room than the current V-8!

Yeah, but it's a DOHC engine so I'm not thinking it's the best idea for a truck. Although I DID hear it would have variable valve timing. Now let me see, it's a new GM engine, has variable displacement AND variable valve timing. To me that adds up to a lot of dealer visits;)

only reason they put the engine in the truck is because it was the only vehicle in cad's line up that the motor would fit.
