When I first bought my car it smelled like real leather inside. Not some chemically fake smell or perfumed leather conditioner. That smell faded so I bought some Maguires leather conditioning wipes. They smell ok but not like that true leather scent. Can anyone suggest a product that will give me that smell?

its not the leather that smells, its the glue they use to put everything together.

Heres the idea: (quoted from the website below)
"The science behind the smell ...
It has taken chemists over 10 years to recreate the smell of natural leather. It is a very complicated and sophisticated process. Our leather smell is regarded as the closest to nature (nature identical) available today.
The study of odors is a growing field but is a complex and difficult one. The human olfactory system can detect many thousands of scents based on only very minute airborne concentrations of a chemical.
To ensure our fragrance would be acceptable, we asked over fifty volunteers to identify over twenty bottles of scents. The range varied from strawberry to baby oil ! Every single volunteer recognized that our scent was leather !"

I just use some plain old leather shoe polish. It brings out the fresh smell and really make the leather look great.
