Either way, i am having a issue with the car going ahead and surging a bit at idle. The car starts to stall almoost, revs itself, and is fine. Is it possible that the IAC is starting to take a dump.

Could be the IAC or IAC air passage in the TB. Have you cleaned it? Maybe a vacuum leak or wires starting to get bad.

Hey new here, but i just bought a 2002 Deville, not 500 miles after i bought it started having idle problems and P0300 code. (multiple random misifres) Took it back to the dealership and said if they didnt fix it they could have it back, so they fixed it. It turned out to be a leak in the intake manifold. Go figure.....

It was more likely the "plenum" or rubber coupler between the TB and the manifold. Seems to be somewhat common on 2000+ engines.

sounds like ignition coils to me

does it happen more often when the car is still warming up to normal running temps?
