Bought them already chromed for $1050 w/ 3 decent Pilot PS2 tires and 1 new Pilot A/S.. Couldn't beat that w/ a wet rag!

Haha. I know. I even had it professionally polished, but after I got it back, I asked and he said he couldn't get those out for what he charged me to do it. :banghead: Guess she'll be going back soon to get a little more work done :D
Cat-back for Christmas, hopefully!

I'm not totally sure. It was like it when I bought it. It's still fairly see-through during the day, but enough to where you can't tell who you are. I would want to say 18%?? Maybe the next shade lighter.

Thanks! Yeah, I've taken it to Chatt-town a few times. Mostly on the weekends now. The tags say Blount because that's were I bought the car, but I reside here in Cleveland :D

Bullcrap. Those swirls are just very fine scratches. When I picked up my V, the dealer prepped it and I had a few patches of "ghost" swirls. A simple application of Griot Garage's finest machine polish, applied over an entire panel where the swirl resides, totally got rid of the swirls. nikon can brag all he wants over having a lazy, silver car, but with 48,000 miles on my black V, I'm swirl free. And I drove mine through 2 Boston winters to boot.

The car shows what looks like the "factory" swirl marks. They follow the same line from panel to panel.. Will this polish you're talking about take car of that?
I may just do it myself.. It's kinda bad that I can shine a car up just as good as a "professional".

Griot's Garage has the polishes, waxes and random orbital buffers you need. They also have an awesome handbook that will show you all you need to know about detailing your own car.
