Hey,
I've been looking all over for a Stock GM Navigation System for a 99 Cadillac STS. Anyone that has one willing to sell please contact me @ robtp@columbus.rr.com I currently have the bose system and would love to swap that out.

the 99-01 system was a 3 piece out of date CDROM system that used completely different plugs
better off and much easier to install a 2002+ DVD based system but goodluck finding one

I have access to a 2002+ system but wouldn't that not require a lot of wiring not to mention will it fit and look right?

fitment is dead on
wiring is 100X easier
look down a few posts by 99classiclac
went over this with him roughly

Hey CadillacSTS2003,
Could you lend me some help on the wiring for a 2002 denso dvd nav system I have? I'm going to install this weekend and I remember you talking about 2 wires that need relocated and 1 cut. (99 STS - replacing stock bose cd player) color codes or a diagram would be a great help!
