Hi. I have a mod in mind but was wondering if anyone can answer this. Inside the front doors we have those lenses that have the lights inside that when you open the door they turn on or when you turn the interior lights they come on. I was wondering if anyone knows how much power one could draw out of them.

The mod I have in mind is putting a 12 inch LED Flexible strip under the door. So tht when you open the door led's will shine out from under the door. I figured the easiest way to do this would be to simply connect the positive and negative to the wires for the lights that already in there but wasn't sure if that would draw too much current. Thank for any input.

If their LED's you should be fine.

They draw very little current. Try it on one side and let us know.
