Is that the new car that Russia builds? Saw a write up on it, and for the same money you can buy a hyundai which is like a luxury car compared to this.

Looks like a Yugo to me.

Every Yugo came factory equipped with a rear-window defroster. It helped to keep your hands warm when you were pushing it in the winter.

It's just a Ford Festiva.. But what's the first thought that comes into your head when you see it?

The first thing that came to me is that that's what John Kerry wants us all to be driving by the time he runs for his second term........not

Heard my buddy James' voice saying "Drop a smallblock in it." He's practically obsessed with smallblock 350's. We joke that he'd attach a smallblock to an electric toothbrush if he could. He even suuggested to one of our female friends that a smllblock would make her Vibe more fun too. (Not talking about the Pontiac Vibe either) She's enough of a car nut that she liked the thoughts of that.

My girl drives a car like that its a hyundai Acent 2 door,
I HAD to drive it about 2 weeks ago b/c she was too drunk and i offered to stay sober. I was sooo angry by the time that we got home. It took so long to go up hills above 65 was lucky. Now we NEVER take her car, i won't allow it and i just have to let her drive mine when i drink a small trade off that i have to deal with.

My ma affectionately referred to it as "the egg carton". Here's a pic of our old family ripper. My ma bought it for my brother and we all(my brothers and me) abused the hell outta that thing!! Rolled it onto its side a few times too many. It only took two people to tip it back over!!! LOL

i think of the ford shogun , a 93 festiva with a 3.0 taurus SHO engine/5speed drivetrain in the back , not unlike a renault R-5 , i belive they made 150 of them

The Festiva wasnt terrible for what it was, and it eventually turned into the ASPIRE, however, it shouldnt be a huge surprise that its actually a rebadged Kia. This from the days when no one had any clue what a Kia was. Pontiac had a similar arrangement around the same time with the Daewoo based "Lemans".
