View Full Version : Worked 335 BMW took me There's a performance shop near me that does work on Audi, Mercedes and Porsche and has started working on the twin turbo 335'. Well, he's testing out his latest car (08 335I) and has done some work. He's behind me, I recognize him and nail it in 2nd gear, then third and he was on my ass the whole time and had he been able to pass he likely would have. Holy crap! Get me one of them. What's up with that, a chipped, tuned, whatever 335 shouldn't be putting out more than 400-450 right? Anyone else come upon one? RunningOnEMT 10-09-07, 05:11 PM yup... there's a shop near me that builds badass bimmers and audis.... they have one with standalone fuel management, bigger turbos, exhaust all the goodies

Ya dun f*cked up!!!
Time to add some "goodies" to your V and get back at em.
You represent the whole V community.
We're pulling for ya. :D 500hp on a 335??? I had an S4TT and the power was insane...much different than our v's Blackout 10-09-07, 08:27 PM The 335i's are sick. But I'm biting at the bit to get a 135i! SLPR 6.0L 10-10-07, 02:18 AM Sounds like the M3 guys are going to have another car to worry about in addition to the V! Playdrv4me 10-10-07, 03:15 AM The 335i represents one of the absolute best pocket rocket values out there right now, and you guys are absolutely right... the E46 M3 guys are scared, and the E92 M3 guys are feeling like they got ripped off to the tune of an extra 20k. The 135? I dont even want to know what they are going to do to that roller skate. Blackout 10-10-07, 10:09 AM The 135? I dont even want to know what they are going to do to that roller skate.
For real. Same engine as the 335i but in a smaller and lighter car. The 335i's are running high to mid 13's bone stock so I can't wait to see what the 135's are going to be running. I believe pricing on the 135i is in the $30k range also. When it comes out I'm going to take one for a test drive and I'm hoping and praying that it blows because if not I might have to replace the FTS j/k Cadillacboy 10-10-07, 12:23 PM The 335i's are sick. Never mind , FTS rules  I agree. 135 for me (well wife) too!!! Next year right? Blackout 10-10-07, 07:02 PM I agree. 135 for me (well wife) too!!! Next year right?
yup, yup StealthCTSVJJL 10-14-07, 04:33 PM I have a feeling that a "worked" 335 just might out run the new M3 in a typical street fight because of torque, although it seems that M3 will be in the low fours 0-60 if not quicker. A "worked" V should take both, choose your work: Maggie or Headers, Cats, Cam etc. Then the 09 V comes out of the box at 500-600Hp + any mod/work. It's a never ending story of new models being released. RunningOnEMT 10-15-07, 10:46 AM i want to see if BMW engineering releases a 335xi or even worse a 135xi ... shooting their M division in the foot i think Blackout 10-15-07, 01:13 PM i want to see if BMW engineering releases a 335xi or even worse a 135xi ... shooting their M division in the foot i think

900 hp and 12 sec QM, interesting, stock Z06 with 505 HP is in 11's. Guess it must be old school tech. We have a cts-v around here running 11's also. RunningOnEMT 10-16-07, 12:56 PM its a supra joke... if you don't have them 100% race prepped they are dyno queens.... can't get off the line for shit Humanoid 11-26-07, 12:19 PM I know another car that cannot get off the line for shit....Ours. Frickin wheel hop.
I wanted a 335i when I was shopping but my wife for some reason kept giving me shit about it.
2 Turbos + Procede = badass.
The 100 series seems a little small for me but you definatly have to respect it if the put the 335i motor in it. adamh21 11-27-07, 05:17 PM Those 335s are bad ass, the turbos are only running like 6-7 lbs and rockin 300 hp stock, do a little remaping and tuning and they could be putting out 400 easy Blackout 11-28-07, 12:16 PM Those 335s are bad ass, the turbos are only running like 6-7 lbs and rockin 300 hp stock, do a little remaping and tuning and they could be putting out 400 easy
