Cross drilled rotors will look good with the new rims (also from Lindsey). I am going to wiat to put them on until I need the stock pads replaced. Also went with the Hawk pads, less brake dust will be nice.
Thanks Luke!

I wish, but I don't have anyone to put them on now.

The local dealership has quoted me $350 for the rotors, they don't know about the pads. If I buy the whole set Rotors, pads, SS lines, through you can you ship Ewill too! I promise to send him back by Sat.

He comes in with the Chickens in the morning!
Waaaaaay before I get there.

I don't ship well... too many packing peanuts.
I was in Springfield MO a couple weeks ago but didn't have much time to do the brake hose install. ;)
Although... I do have to work this Saturday :(

I sure would've met you there if, I'd know that!
While I have you here...
What is the Capacity for the Clutch resovoir? If I get (2) 12oz. bottles of Amsoil Brake Fluid DOT-4 would that cover both the Brakes and the clutch??
If my dealership don't look too confused when i ask them about the Brake lines, I may let them try to install them.

I haven't tried a DOT 4 in any GM stuff.
I have heard nightmarish tales about DOT 5 but not sure what the real difference is, those could have been myths anyway.

For the clutch, I use the GM clutch fluid and DOT 3 in the master.
The clutch really doesn't require much fluid. I fill the reservoir and bleed it about 4 reservoirs full and it comes out clean so that might be about a cup of fluid.
The Brakes, you'll probably need about three 12 oz bottles to do it all effectively. Maybe more if you really want to flush it out good.
The brake hoses... there are a few tricks to avoid a bleeding nightmare. I can elaborate if you want but not right now.

DOT 4 is just a higher boiling point version of DOT 3, and is compatible with DOT3. DOT 5 is silicone based, and can;t be mixed with DOT 3 or 4.

I'll be sending a bottle of DOT4 (ATE Super Blue) in with my car next monday, for you to use in my cluthc fluid dlush :D
